Compare the same plan
For plastic surgery cost comparisons, confirm the exact operation and treatment areas first. Record the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia, facility, tests, garments, prescriptions and follow-up. Ask whether revision care, overnight care or an unexpected hospital visit would be additional.
A lower advertised fee does not tell you whether the same services, facility or aftercare are included. Get the plan and exclusions in writing before making a commitment.

Questions about coverage and payment
Ask your insurer about the exact proposed procedure and any authorization requirements. Do not assume that a cosmetic operation or its complications are covered. Ask the practice to explain cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms in writing.
If financing is offered, read the lender’s repayment terms, interest and fees. This guide does not recommend a financing product or assess whether borrowing is appropriate for you.
Next step
Bring the itemized quote to your consultation and use the consultation checklist. Read the procedure’s risk and recovery sections alongside its price.
